Extramural Mixed Volleyball Information Page
GENERAL INFO
- Extramural Mixed Volleyball is the second highest level of volleyball offered within the Ontario College system (NOT a varsity sport and athletic scholarships ARE NOT available)
- Compete against other college campus extramural teams within the Ontario Collegiate Recreation (OCR), the recreation arm of the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association (OCAA) and governing body for all extramural sports in Ontario.
- Mixed Volleyball is NOT a RecCup Series sport.
- Tournaments are on weekdays and are FULL-DAY EVENTS, causing players to miss class-time if they choose to play.
ELIGIBILITY
- Players MUST be full time students
- Players MUST register for tryouts. Upon completion of the tryous sessions players will be contacted and offered a spot on the team.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
- Georgian currently only has one Extramural Mixed Volleyball Team - representing Georgian Barrie
- In 2024-25, the mixed volleyball team finished 1st at the Seneca Invitational Tournament
- In 2024-25, the mixed volleyball team finished 1st at the Conestoga Invitational Tournament going undefeated
- In 2024-25, the mixed volleyball team finished 1st at the Sheridan Invitational Tournament
- In 2025-26, the mixed volleyball team finished 2nd at the Seneca Invitational Tournament
