Bio
Troy Joseph is heading into his first year as the Head Coach of Georgian Grizzlies Women’s Basketball Team
Joseph brings a wealth of experience, strong leadership, and a deep passion for player development to the Grizzlies. A leader with the rare combination of fierce competitiveness, humility, and a compassionate approach to developing players, Joseph is poised to lead the program into an exciting new era.
As the founder and head coach of Breakthrough Athletics, Joseph has translated his extensive playing experience at the NCAA Division I, USports and professional levels into coaching youth and high school basketball. In addition, he has supported Team Ontario’s U15 and U17 programs in elite athletic identification and development.
“I’m incredibly honoured to take on this role”, said Joseph. “ The Georgian Grizzlies have a strong foundation, and I’m excited to work with this talented group of student-athletes. My goal is to build a culture of accountability, resilience, and pride – both in how we compete and how we represent the Grizzlies. I can’t wait to get started.”
