North Bay, ON -- The Georgian Grizzlies pulled off a thrilling 3-2 victory against the Canadore Panthers in a match defined by resilience and standout performances. Despite dropping the first two sets, 17-25 and 20-25, the Grizzlies rallied with determination to claim the next three sets, 25-22, 25-21, and an intense 18-16 finale, securing the comeback win.
Key contributors to the victory included outside hitter Ryan Vreizma (Midhurst, ON), who was a dominant force with 17 kills, 4 errors on 33 attempts, and a stellar hitting percentage of .394. Vreizma also contributed defensively with 10 digs and a block assist, amassing a team-high 19 points.
