MEN’S VOLLEYBALL STARTS OFF PRE-SEASON AT CAMBRIAN INVITATIONAL

SUDBURY, ON -- The Georgian Grizzlies men’s volleyball started their pre-season schedule at the Cambrian Invitational in Sudbury.

Georgian won both of their matches on the first day, defeating the Centennial Colts 2-1 (19-25, 25-20, 16-14) and the Boreal Vipers 2-0 (25-14, 25-16).

The two wins allowed Georgian to finish first their pool and set-up a semi-final game against the George Brown Huskies.

Unfortunately the Huskies knocked off the Grizzlies 2-0 (25-21, 25-21) to prevent Georgian from advancing to the tournament championship game.

Georgian’s pre-season schedule continues on Wednesday, October 4^th when the Redeemer Royals make the trip to Barrie. Game time is 8:00 p.m.
