BARRIE, ON -- The Georgian Grizzlies held their home opener tonight, hosting the Durham Lords.
The Grizzlies battled, pushing the Lords into extra points, losing the first set (24-26). Georgian dominated the second set (25-16) and used that momentum the rest of the way. The Grizzlies won the third (26-24) and fourth sets (25-19) making quick work of the Lords. Grizzlies win in four sets, 3-1.
The Grizzlies are back in action tomorrow at home with a matinee match at 3:00 pm with the Fleming Phoenix.
