Kingston, ON -- Grizzlies top Surge 85-77 in first game of their back-to-back Ottawa roadtrip

Georgian started the game strong, taking a 23-20 lead in the first quarter. The Grizzlies cointinued to push the pace, outscoring St. Lawrence 53-41 to end the first half.

St. Lawrence outscored Georgian in the third, but still trailed by nine with 10 minutes left to play in the final frame. The Grizzlies managed to maintain their lead and ultimately sealed their victory with a score of 85-77.

Sean Marseille (Newmarket, ON) scored 22 points along with 13 rebounds and four steals, and Jomar Dela Rosa (Bradford, ON) contributed 18 points and five steals. 

The Grizzlies are back in action tomorrow for an afternoon bout with the Loyalist Lancers.
