CCAA National Championship – Round 3 Recap
King, ON -- After three rounds of competition at the CCAA National Championship, Bryden Dilley (Barrie, ON) remains steady in the women's individual standings, finishing round three in 10th place. Dilley shot +16 for a total of 87, bringing her three-round total to 258 (+45). Competing as part of OCAA Women's Team 2, Dilley and her team sit in 4th place, with a combined score of +70, just 8 strokes behind 3rd-place ACAC Women's Team 1.
In the men's individual competition, Graeme MacDougall (Huntsville, ON) continues to lead the Grizzlies, moving up to a tie for 9th place after an impressive round of +2, shooting 73 for a three-round total of 228. Gavin Prosser (Johnstown, ON) delivered the best Grizzlies round of the day, scoring +1 for a total of 72, climbing to 16th place.
Chris Miller (Huntsville, ON) remains consistent, shooting a +3 (74), tying for 22nd overall. Colton Day (Kamloops, B.C.) and Jack Short (Conestogo, ON) both finished tied for 37th. Day posted a +11 (82), while Short improved significantly, shooting +5 (76).
As a team, the Georgian Grizzlies men's squad made a strong move, recording their best round of the tournament so far with a score of 295, bringing their overall score to +79. The Grizzlies now sit in 5th place, showing promise with just one round left to play. They are well within striking distance, aiming to close the gap on the top teams as the tournament concludes.
