Georgian Grizzlies Set to Shine at 2024 CCAA Golf Championships
BARRIE, ON -- As the 2024 CCAA Golf National Championships approach, hosted by Humber College at the prestigious RedCrest Golf Club, all eyes are on the Georgian Grizzlies, who come into the tournament with strong momentum following the OCAA Championships.
Leading the Grizzlies is Bryden Dilley (Barrie, ON), a standout performer at the OCAA event, securing a bronze medal in the women's individual tournament. Dilley's impressive form and poise under pressure make her a key figure to watch as she takes on the national stage.
Graeme MacDougall (Huntsville, ON), Chris Miller (Huntsville, ON), and Gavin Prosser (Johnstown, ON), who all contributed solid rounds at the OCAA Championships, will be looking to build on their performances. Their ability to remain consistent will be vital in navigating RedCrest’s challenging layout, which features rolling fairways and strategically placed hazards.
Jack Short (Conestogo, ON) and Colton Day (Kamloops, BC) round out the Grizzlies roster, bringing depth and a competitive edge. Both players have shown flashes of brilliance throughout the season and are more than capable of delivering under the bright lights of a national competition.
With a blend of talent and experience, the Grizzlies are set to challenge the top programs in the country, making this year's championship a must-watch event for golf fans.
