Co-Ed 3-Pitch Softball
Barrie Co-ed 3 Pitch Softball is offered during the Summer semester, running from late May until the first week in August and in the Fall semester, from September to October. The league can accommodate up to 12 teams and is extremely popular, filling up quickly each year.
Teams can play as many as two games per week. Ten (10) players (minimum 8) are on the field at once, with a minimum of two females and two males being on the field at all times. Teams pitch to their own teams and each player has a maximum of three pitches to hit the ball fairly or they are out.
The league is fun for everyone and is a highlight for many of the students who are on campus during the summer. Both Team Registration and Individual Registration is available. If you don’t have a team - we’ll find you one!
Each player will receive their own jersey as part of the registration fee. Georgian Campus Rec will provide bases, balls, bats and umpires. Participants can use their own bats and are expected to have their own gloves and cleats. No open-toed footwear, socks or barefeet allowed. Batting helmets are not required.
Game Days: Monday thru Thursday – start times from 4pm to 7pm – Georgian Fields
Schedule Exceptions: No games on holiday Mondays or during Reading Week.
Fees:
Team Registration: $225.00 +HST (15 players max with minimum of 2 females or males)
Individual Registration: $15.00+ HST
Important Dates:
Registration Summer: 1st Tuesday in April until Friday of Victoria Day weekend
Registration Fall: Tuesday following Labour Day
First Spring League Games: Tuesday after Victoria Day
First Fall League Games: Second week of semester
