Grizzles come out on top 79-72 in a hard-fought game against Loyalist

Belleville, ON -- Grizzles come out on top 79-72 in a hard-fought game against Loyalist. 

The game started with Georgian College taking an early lead in the first quarter, outscoring Loyalist College 25-15. However, Loyalist College fought back in the second quarter, narrowing the gap and ending the half with a score of 41-41.

Both teams continued to battle it out in the second half. Loyalist College took a slight lead in the third quarter, outscoring Georgian College 21-20. However, Georgian College came back strong in the final quarter, outscoring their opponents 18-14 and securing the victory, 79-72.

Georgian's Gabriel Obusan (Mississauga, ON) had an outstanding performance, scoring 15 points and dishing three assists. Jomar Dela Rosa (Bradford, ON) also played a crucial role, scoring 14 points and making valuable contributions on the court.

Both teams displayed strong defensive skills, with Georgian College recording seven steals and four blocks, while Loyalist College had one steal and one block.

The Grizzlies' ability to maintain their lead in the first and fourth quarters ultimately secured their victory. This win brings Georgian College's record to 4-3, wining their third game in a row.
