Pair of tryout dates announced for 2016 Grizzlies Golf

Among the OCAA's strongest programs, Georgian Golf will host tryouts for the 2016 season on Wednesday, September 7 and Thursday, September 8 at Heritage Hills Golf Club.

The Grizzlies are coming off an impressive 2015 campaign, having captured a combined five CCAA and OCAA medals while earning a total of sixteen podium finishes. Emilie Tyndall, in her first year at Georgian, was named both a CCAA All-Canadian and All-Ontario team member.

The program's success dates back to 1980, when the Grizzlies captured their first Team Championship. Since then Georgian Golf has won a total of fifty-nine provincial medals, including sixteen gold's. Over the past seven years, the Grizzlies have been on an impressive run. Since 2009 the program has won nineteen Provincial Medals, highlighted by seven consecutive top three finishes for the Men's Team.

*Please note that it is recommended that male golfers have an RCGA handicap of 9 or less and female golfers have an RCGA handicap of 24 or less.
