National golf rankings – Georgian women second in Canada, men ninth
The final CCAA Golf Rankings have been released in advance of next week’s National Championship, with the Georgian Grizzlies Women’s Golf Team jumping four spots to number two in Canada.

The final CCAA Golf Rankings have been released in advance of next week's National Championship, with the Georgian Grizzlies Women's Golf Team jumping four spots to number two in Canada.
At last week's OCAA Championship, Georgian's Women captured the Team Championship thanks to incredible performances from Emilie Tyndall (total score of 230) and Corey Pond (239 total). It was the programs fourth ever Provincial Title; Tyndall's performance was good for second overall individually and Pond finished a strong fourth.
On the Men's side of things, the Grizzlies made an incredible third day comeback to grab a bronze medal and the final National Championship berth. Heading into the final round three strokes out of third, Matt Lemay's 72 and Jon Collins 76 keyed a six-stroke turnaround for the podium finish and trip to British Columbia.
Nationals get started Tuesday, October 13 at Chilliwack Golf Club in British Columbia.
